The primary activity...
at Tamboti is to relax in the peace and quiet of a great natural environment! Each residential site has its own spectacular view – some of them over mountain and ravine vistas for as far as the eye can see, while others nestle in an indigenous forest environment along the banks of the Tamboti River.
Nature lovers will delight in walking the trails, viewing the diverse vegetation and abundant wildlife from close up and pausing for a picnic lunch at one of the designated picnic sites.
For the more adventurous, climbing the cliffs will give them the opportunity to view the magnificent gorges with their prolific vegetation, from every conceivable vantage point. Include a spot of fishing and the day is done. Then relax over a braai before sleeping in the total peace of the virgin African Bushveld.
For the mountain bike enthusiasts Tamboti offers a great mountain bike experience for beginners to advanced cyclist. Combination of flat areas and hilly climbs will satisfy all your mountain biking needs with 45km of gravel roads through the reserve comfortable base from which to appreciate the natural splendor of the bush.
