Architecture & Design

Design guidelines were originally drafted by Architect Braam de Villiers. The best example of this standard is Kololo Lodge, situated on Plot 40. Guidelines were recently revisited by architect Renier Roos to ensure relevance and focus on natural materials, green energy optimisation and minimal disruption to the environment.

Meticulous care was taken in the layout of the houses to maximize the scenic potential. Original designs are still available or designs can be customised by Renier Roos to cater for individual preference, still keeping to the design guidelines approved by the aesthetics committee. Design, detailed drawings, submission to council and project management have been negotiated on a fixed fee basis and full details are available on request from the head of the aesthetics committee.
