Character of Tamboti

The topography of Tamboti River Private Game Reserve consists 60% of mountains and ravines, and 40% of plateaux and plains. The Tamboti River winds its way through the reserve for 3.5 km, with 50-80 m high cliffs on either side. The extensive rock formations shaped over hundreds of millions of years of revine erosion offer natural privacy and exclusivity, unparalleled, providing a spectacular backdrop for the residential sites along its banks.

This part of the Waterberg is renowned for the diversity of its indigenous trees, shrubs and other vegetation. The rainfall is 450 - 750 mm per year, occurring mainly in the summer and autumn. The summers are warm; the winter days are normally sunny, followed by crisply cool nights. Frost is rare.
